How is this different from coaching or consulting?

The work sits slightly differently from both traditional coaching and consulting. It is not focused on personal development, and it is not about delivering a set of recommendations to be implemented by others.

Chris works directly with business leaders on the commercial direction of the business as an advisor. The focus is on decisions, priorities, and how the business is structured to grow.

It is a more active and structured process than coaching. Conversations are used to surface thinking, but also to challenge, clarify and move towards decisions.

At the same time, it is not a delivery service. Chris does not take on execution or manage projects. The responsibility for implementation stays with the client, though he will connect you with those who can help.

The value comes from judgement, structure, and helping leaders move from thinking to clear decisions.
